Ingredients:
100% Pure Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Oil)
(Optional) Sunflower Oil or other lightweight oil of your choice (e.g., grapeseed, almond)
Equipment:
Clean hands
Soft, clean washcloth
Warm water
(Optional) Reusable cotton pads
Instructions:
For Simple Oil Cleansing:
Dispense: Pour a small amount of Jojoba Oil (start with 1 teaspoon, adjust as needed) into the palm of your clean, dry hand.
Massage: Gently massage the oil onto your dry face and neck in circular motions for 1-2 minutes. This helps to dissolve makeup, dirt, and excess sebum. Pay extra attention to areas with makeup.
Warm Cloth: Wet a clean washcloth with warm (not hot) water and wring out the excess.
Steam & Wipe: Drape the warm cloth over your face for a few seconds to gently steam and soften the skin.
Wipe Away: Gently wipe away the oil and impurities with the warm cloth. Rinse the cloth as needed.
Pat Dry: Pat your skin dry with a soft towel.
(Optional) Moisturize: If your skin feels like it needs extra hydration, you can apply a very small amount of Jojoba Oil or another light moisturizer.
For Targeted Makeup Removal:
Apply to Pad: Pour a small amount of Jojoba Oil onto a reusable cotton pad or your clean fingertips.
Gently Wipe: Gently press the pad onto the makeup you want to remove (e.g., eye makeup, foundation) and hold for a few seconds to allow the oil to break it down.
Wipe Away: Gently wipe away the makeup. Repeat as needed with a clean part of the pad or a fresh pad.
(Optional) Follow with Cleanser: You can follow up with a gentle water-based cleanser if you prefer, but for many, the Jojoba Oil alone is sufficient.
Notes:
Combination: If desired, mix Jojoba Oil with Sunflower Oil or another lightweight oil in your palm before massaging onto your skin. Start with a 1:1 ratio and adjust to your preference.
Listen to Your Skin: Pay attention to how your skin feels and adjust the amount of oil you use accordingly.
Storage: Store your bottle of Jojoba Oil in a cool, dark place.
Patch Test: Always perform a patch test on a small area of your skin before applying it to your entire face to check for any adverse reactions.
